Cancellation & Refund Policy

Overview

At Petofy, we strive to ensure a seamless experience for every pet parent and service provider. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand.

Cancellation Policy

a. Pet Services (Grooming, Boarding, Vet Appointments, etc.)

  • Free Cancellation: Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours before the scheduled service time, with a full refund to the customer.
  • Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a Platform Fee of up to 20%, depending on the individual service provider’s policy.
  • Contact Exchange Clause: If contact details (phone number, email, etc.) have already been exchanged between the customer and the pet groomer/boarder/sitter, and the customer cancels afterward, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
  • Processing Fee After Contact Sharing: If the customer cancels within the cancellation window but after contact details have been shared, a 20% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Refund Policy

  • For Services: Eligible refunds, in accordance with the above cancellation terms, will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • 24-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a 100% money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with the service, within 24 hours of the appointment. No questions asked.
  • After 24 Hours: Refund requests made after 24 hours of the service are not eligible. We encourage all customers to report dissatisfaction promptly so we can take corrective action.
